Terms of business

These are the terms we work under unless a signed contract says otherwise. They are written for a buyer placing a first order, not for a court.

Quotations

A quotation holds for 30 days and assumes the artwork, size, quantity and packaging described in it. Material prices move; if any of those change, the price is requoted rather than adjusted quietly.

Samples

Sample charges are quoted before work starts and deducted from the first bulk invoice once an order proceeds. Sample tooling and the pattern belong to your order and are not used for anyone else.

Approval

Bulk production begins only on your written approval of a physical sample. We seal a golden sample at that point, and it is the reference the finished lot is inspected against.

Artwork and intellectual property

You confirm that you own or are licensed to use the artwork you send. We do not verify licences. Your artwork and the pattern drafted from it remain yours, and we will not reproduce your design for another buyer.

Payment

30% deposit before bulk production, 70% against the bill of lading copy before shipment. Goods remain our property until payment clears in full.

Lead times

Lead times run from written approval and a cleared deposit, not from the date of enquiry. Delays caused by late approvals, artwork changes or customer-supplied materials extend them accordingly.

Inspection and claims

Goods are inspected to AQL 2.5 general level II before packing unless another standard is agreed. Claims must reach us with photographs within 30 days of arrival; where a lot fails against the approved sample we remake or credit the affected pieces.

Compliance

We build to the standard you specify and arrange third-party testing at cost when you ask for it. Confirming which standards and labelling your destination market requires is the buyer’s responsibility.

Shipping and risk

Unless the quotation says otherwise, delivery is FOB Shenzhen and risk passes when the goods are loaded. Transit damage is a matter for the carrier or your cargo insurer.
